Questions people ask us

Disposable camera developing FAQ

Do I need to take the film out of the disposable camera?

No. Bring us the complete camera. Opening it yourself can expose or damage the film.

Can you develop a Praktica or Boots disposable camera?

Yes. We develop Praktica and other disposable or single-use cameras, wherever they were bought. Bring the complete camera and choose digital images / scans, 6 × 4 printed photographs, or both.

How much does it cost to develop a disposable camera in Brighton?

On the no-rush 12–14-day service, digital images only start at £10, printed photographs only start at £13, and digital images with printed photographs start at £18. These headline prices do not include negative return; add sleeved negatives for £2. Faster 3-working-day, next-working-day, same-day and fast-service options are available.

How quickly can you develop a disposable camera?

Medium JPEG digital images can be ready in one hour, usually Monday to Saturday for cameras dropped off by 4.30pm. High JPEG and all TIFF fast services take two hours and should reach us by 3.30pm. Same-day, next-working-day, 3-working-day and 12–14-day options are also available.

Will I receive digital images?

Yes. Choose digital images only from £10, printed photographs only from £13, or both from £18 on the no-rush turnaround. JPEG and TIFF options and faster turnaround choices are also available.

Can I have printed photographs as well?

Yes. Choose a full set of 6 × 4 gloss or matt photographic prints without digital images, or choose digital images and prints together. Borderless and white-border choices are available. Headline prices do not include negatives; add sleeved negatives for £2. These are real C-Type prints made on photographic paper, not inkjet.

Do you develop black-and-white disposable cameras?

Yes. We process black-and-white disposable cameras in-house, with digital images, printed photographs and fast turnaround options including one hour.

Can you develop an old disposable camera?

Usually, yes. Results from old film depend on its age and how it has been stored, so they cannot be guaranteed, but images can often still be recovered. Keep the camera closed and bring it in as it is.

Do you process wedding disposable cameras?

Yes. We regularly accept multiple disposable cameras together. Contact us before visiting when you have a large batch or a fixed deadline.
