How it works

Simple from camera to photographs.

1

Bring in the whole camera

Kodak, Fujifilm, Agfa and most other disposable or single-use cameras are welcome. You do not need to book, order online or remove the film yourself.

2

Choose scans, prints and speed

Choose digital JPEG or TIFF scans, optional 6 × 4 C-Type prints, sleeved negatives if required, and a turnaround from one hour to our best-value no-rush service.

3

Receive your photographs

Your scans are delivered digitally. Prints and negatives can be collected from our Brighton shop when they are ready.

Colour disposable cameras

Choose the turnaround that suits you.

Most colour disposable cameras contain standard C-41 film. These prices include developing and medium JPEG scans, without negatives or prints.

No rush £10 8–14 days
Standard £12 3 working days
Next day £13 Next working day
Same day £15 During opening hours

More than simply developing

Your disposable camera still deserves a proper lab.

Scans

Noritsu HS-1800 digital images

Your film is scanned on our professional Noritsu HS-1800. Most disposable-camera customers choose medium JPEGs, while high-resolution JPEG and true 16-bit TIFF options are also available.

Prints

Real photographic C-Type prints

Add 6 × 4 prints made on Fuji Crystal Archive DP-II paper in traditional RA-4 chemistry — not inkjet prints from an office printer.

Questions people ask us

Disposable camera developing FAQ

Do I need to take the film out of the disposable camera?

No. Bring us the complete camera. Opening it yourself can expose or damage the film.

How much does it cost to develop a disposable camera in Brighton?

Colour disposable-camera developing with medium JPEG scans starts at £10 on our no-rush turnaround. Faster options include 3 working days, next working day, same day and one hour. Prints and sleeved negatives are optional extras.

How quickly can you develop a disposable camera?

Our fastest option is one hour, usually available Monday to Saturday for cameras dropped off by 4.30pm. Same-day, next-working-day, 3-working-day and 8–14-day options are also available.

Will I receive the photographs digitally?

Yes. Choose JPEG or TIFF scans and we will deliver the files digitally. Medium JPEG scans are the usual choice for phones, sharing and everyday printing; higher-resolution options are available when needed.

Can I have prints as well?

Yes. A set of 6 × 4 gloss or matt C-Type prints can be added for £8, with borderless and white-border choices available.

Do you develop black-and-white disposable cameras?

Yes. We process black-and-white disposable cameras in-house, with scans, prints and fast turnaround options including one hour.

Can you develop an old disposable camera?

Usually, yes. Results from old film depend on its age and how it has been stored, so they cannot be guaranteed, but photographs can often still be recovered. Keep the camera closed and bring it in as it is.

Do you process wedding disposable cameras?

Yes. We regularly accept multiple disposable cameras together. Contact us before visiting when you have a large batch or a fixed deadline.
