We develop both C41 and Black & White film using "mini-lab" processors, engineering marvels of their time. These machines reliably process film with consistent, high-quality results. Our commitment to tradition and innovation is evident in being one of the first UK labs to convert a C41 mini-lab to process black and white film. This enables us to offer the timeless quality of traditional film processing at a low cost and with an exceptionally fast turnaround time of just one hour.

We specialise in high-quality film scanning, producing digital images using the renowned Noritsu HS-1800. This scanner is widely preferred by photographers, where it consistently delivers superior results compared to other systems.

Noritsu's technology excels in capturing the fine tonal nuances and contrast essential for both colour and black and white photography. Whether scanning 35mm or medium format film, the HS-1800 ensures exceptional clarity and depth, preserving the full dynamic range of your film.

Choose from medium resolution - suitable for most purposes, to the highest resolution testing the limits of your camera system. Our TIFF option gives you true 16 Bit files suitable for commercial editing.

We also offer "C-Type" (chromogenic) prints, which are a cornerstone of traditional photography. This method, using embedded dyes within light-sensitive paper, was the standard for photographic printing in the era before digital photography. The process defines classic photography, resulting in prints with smooth, continuous tones, rich colors, and the signature look and feel that many associate with traditional photographic prints.
