    About our Film Developing
    Scope
In house Service to Develop 35mm and 120mm film, C41 and Black & White, E6, and all Disposable cameras.
    Procesing method
We use three separate machiines to develop C41, Black and White and E6 Films. All aspects of our film processing are automated to ensure accuracy and consistency
    Film Scanning
We scan using a Noritsu HS-1800. Images are carefully assessed, black point adjusted, aligned and rotated. Any specific requests can be made to staff on drop-off or in the notes field
    Printing
Our Prints are "C-Type" real photographic prints on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper, developed in RA4 chemistry. We use a high-quality Noritsu wet lab printer, with automatic color calibration
    Turnaround Times
For both C41 and Black & White film and Disposable Cameras, we offer Same Day and One Hour options. Our "normal" turnaround is 3 work days. For E6, the service depends on the number of order we receive, but normally the turnaround is 14 days
    Ordering
You can place your order here then drop off your film at Picture This Film Lab 67 Trafalgar Street, Brighton BN1 4EB. Outside of opening hours, please use our letterbox. We're 1 minute walk from Brighton Station. Alternatively, just drop in with your film during opening hours
    Recycling
We treat film waste chemistry to recover silver. We recycle plastics and disposable cameras using commercial services. For any customers needing empty film canisters or plastic film holders, you're welcome to collect as many as you need from our shop
    Negative Sleeving
Negatives are sleeved in a clear archival sleeve (35mm negatives are cut into strips of 6)
    Negative Storage
We keep negatives for 3 months by default. If you do not collect them in that time, we'll assume you don't want them, unless you contact us
