Film Developing

Film Developing

Walk-in film developing in Brighton for 35mm, 120 and disposable cameras — with the same pricing for colour (C-41) and black & white. Choose your scan size (Medium/High JPEG or 16-bit TIFF) and add prints if you want them.

We scan on a Noritsu HS-1800 and check each frame for clean, natural results: exposure/black point, gentle shadow lift where needed, rotation, plus obvious spots/blemishes removed within reason. Mail-order is available too, with options for how you’d like negatives returned or stored.

We store negatives and prints for collection for a period of 6 months. For mail order customers, there's a guide below with options including return of negatives/prints by post.

Mail Order Guide

Follow these simple steps to get started.

Place your order online

On our Film Developing page, choose your required service.

Add to cart

Choose the required scan resolution and format, print finish, and lab turnaround times. Click the add to cart button and review your selection.

Discounts will be automatically applied if you're sending more than 5 films - these will show in the cart. For discount percentages, see our FAQ. For orders over £50, we'll post back negatives and prints free (see next step).

Choose Ship at checkout (important)

Select Ship at checkout and enter your name and address.

Only after you choose Ship and enter your address will you see the options for:

  • Return negatives & prints by post
    (Flat fee of £3.50 per order)
    (Free on orders over £50.)
  • Store negatives for collection (Free - we'll keep them for up to 6 months). Useful if you sometimes visit Brighton.
  • Dispose of negatives (if you don’t need anything returned). No return postage cost!

Tip: If you don’t see these options, it’s because either “Ship”, or your address, haven't been entered yet.

Post your film to us

Post your film(s) to:

Please use a padded, rip-proof mailer and make sure you’ve paid the correct postage. If you’re sending valuable film, we recommend a tracked service.

We’ll confirm when it arrives

We’ll notify you when we’ve received your film and it’s logged into the lab.

We process, scan and (if ordered) print

Our published turnaround times start from the day your film arrives at our lab.

When your order is complete, you’ll receive an email with a Dropbox link for any digital images ordered.

Negatives / prints are returned according to the return option you chose at checkout. We post negatives and prints once per week.
