High Jpeg: 6744 x 4492 px. This is our recommended resolution, extracting the ultimate quality from 35mm film. The result is visibly finer details and tonal range. Suitable for prints up to 22 x 15 inches. File Size ~ 20 MB
High 16 Bit TIFF: 6744 x 4492 px. 16 Bit TIFF files contain incredible colour depth. This plays to the strength of colour film, and is simply unmatched by any digital camera. File Size ~ 90 MB
Medium Jpeg: 3130 x 2175 px. Suitable for web use. Technically sufficient for prints up to 10 x 8 inches, assuming photo printing at 300 DPI. However in practice, at 10 x 8 inches, our High Resolution scans produce finer detail and smoother tone variations. File Size ~ 5 MB
Low Jpeg: We don't offer this setting. In our view this resolution is a false economy.
High Jpeg: 6298 × 5028 px (6 x 7 image). This is our recommended resolution. Suitable prints up to at least 20 x 18 inches. Exceptional image quality from the Noritsu HS-1800. File Size ~ 25 MB
High 16 Bit TIFF: 6298 × 5028 px 16 Bit TIFF (6 x 7 image). True 16 Bit TIFF files. File Size ~ 92MB
Medium Jpeg: 3149 × 2514 px (6 x 7 image) Suitable for web use and prints up to 12 x 10 inches File Size ~ 6 MB
Low Jpeg: We don't offer this setting. In our view this resolution is a false economy.

When ordering prints from 120mm film the print size will vary depending on the image format as follows:
6 x 4.5 cm --> 6 x 4.5 inches 6 x 6 cm --> 6 x 6 inches 6 x 7 cm --> 6 x 7 inches 6 x 9 cm --> 6 x 9 inches

Turnaround time refers to the time taken from receipt of film for processing. On completion, you'll receive an email and a Dropbox link for any Digital Images ordered. We post back negatives / prints once a week.
Negative Sleeving: Negatives are sleeved in a clear archival sleeve. 35mm negatives are cut into strips of 6.
Negative Storage: We keep negatives for 3 months. If you do not collect them in that time, we'll assume you don't want them, unless you contact us
We can push or pull Black and White film for no extra cost. Just inform us at drop off or in the notes section. Colour film cannot be effectively pushed or pulled by increased or decreasing development times
Half Frame: When sending us 35mm film exposed as half frame, please be aware that we will scan each image individually. If prints are ordered they will be generated for each image. As there could be up to 72 prints, we'll contact you to ask for an additional payment depending on the number of prints.
